| ⚫ | Ben Sherman was born and raised in the wealthy neighborhood of Bellagio & Stone Canyon, Los Angeles, by his parents Ben Sherman, Sr. and Linda Sherman. Living in a very privileged lifestyle, Ben's world suddenly turned upside down when, at the age of 10 and shortly after his parents split, a couple of men employed by a drug dealing client of Ben, Sr. broke into his house at night, broke his teeth and watched helplessly as his mother was being beaten and raped. After the attack the father of one of Ben's school friends took the young boy to the Beverly Hills Gun Club and taught him how to shoot. This left a deep psychological effect on the young Ben Sherman, resulting in his hatred towards his father and his desire to be a cop. |

Biography
Ben Sherman was born and raised in the wealthy neighborhood of Bellagio & Stone Canyon, Los Angeles, by his parents Ben Sherman, Sr. and Linda Sherman. Family
After Ben's father left him and his mother, his father then remarried and fathered two half-sisters, Olivia Sherman and Chloe Sherman. Despite the fact that he hates his father, he has no disdain attitudes towards his half sisters who he cares very deeply for.
LAPD Career
He is a Police Officer I, which is a probationary level officer. Serving as John Cooper's trainee throughout seasons 1 to 3 in the Hollywood Division in West Bureau.
At the end of Season Three Ben is then partnered with the recently demoted Sammy Bryant.
